Our associate Mari lives in Beijing – a great destination for you to exchange homes. “There’s always something new here to be discovered,” she says.
Can you think of a city that mixes tradition and modernity? One of the most populous metropolis in the world, but that keeps millennial secrets. That is Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Mari is one of the first BeLocal associates. Nobody better than her to talk about her own house.
“My house is wide, bright and comfortable. We have three bedrooms with a double bed, one of them being a suite. The address is on a quiet street right in the center of Beijing. We are in Dongcheng District, where most of the sights, bars and restaurants, markets and museums are located. The house has enough comfortable facilities for a large family with up to eight people. On the ground floor, we have a large kitchen facing the patio and barbecue area. The living room, which has a double sofa bed, is large and pleasant. On the ground floor, we also have a Japanese room for relaxation,” says Mari.
You can’t miss it: the Forbidden City, the Wall of China and the Temple of Heaven. And Mari’s house!
